What is a Comprehensive Tune-Up?

Many standard heating and AC tune-ups don’t detect potential issues that our comprehensive tune-ups can identify. Our qualified comprehensive tune-up contractors use advanced diagnostic tools to fully analyze your system. These tools help the contractor to identify issues that rob your system of efficiency or present potential health and safety issues. Performing these deep diagnostic checks takes more time and often costs a little more.

A comprehensive tune-up:

  • Helps identify potential health and safety risks.
  • Identifies unsafe levels of carbon monoxide in flue gas. High levels of carbon monoxide mean your system isn’t firing up like it should.
  • Identifies unsafe temperatures in your flue gas.
  • Evaluates how efficiently your furnace is using fuel, so a technician can make adjustments, test again, and monitor results
  • Allows a technician to “tune” your system up to maximum operating efficiency
  • Gives a baseline for future tune ups, allowing a technician to make sure your system works efficiently in the future.
  • Provides a clear report on the health of your heating or cooling, helping you plan to maintain or replace the system.

We offer a $65 rebate for comprehensive furnace or AC tune-ups to offset the extra cost.

Benefits of High Efficient Heating & Cooling

Scenic Michigan lake, a reminder of the environment we all want to protect

Can upgrading my heating or cooling system help the environment?

If your system is older, the answer is probably yes! Because most people spend around 42% of their energy costs on heating and cooling, small changes can make a big impact. Plus, when you combine upgraded HVAC systems with tools like smart thermostats, the environmental impacts can be even greater.
